We would like thank all of you for your emails of encouragement. After our first year of production, we have taken a step back to review what we did right and wrong in order to continue improving our production and services.

Malawi is blessed with musical talent that has had little exposure to the world due to limited resources in the local music industry. Malawian music has a unique sound comprising of a local Malawian (African) beat sometimes mixed in a reggae beat or fully local African sound, performed in local dialects or English.
J&D Record Company has established a recording studio, a country wide music distribution network and introduced promotion of Musicians creating an alternative that will benefit the Malawian music industry and the Malawian artists in the short and long term. The quality of the sound and music production from J&D studios reflects the commitment of the talented production team and artists in taking Malawian music to the next level.
